His love of basketball was infectious and could be seen perfecting his legendary hook shot down at Main Beach. Daniel was an avid Chicago Sports Fan who loved cheering on the Cubs, Bulls and the DePaul Blue Demons teams.
Following in the footsteps of his 6 brothers who served in World War2, Daniel served in the Army during the Korean War. After completing his military service, Daniel used his ability to connect with people and worked most of his career in the Real Estate and Insurance Industries throughout the Suburbs of Chicago.
As a father & coach, he helped guide his children into sports and rarely would miss cheering on a sporting event that involved his children or grandchildren.
