Jayne Dale

Jayne Dale sadly passed away at the age of 85 on July 5, 2023, at their home in Huntley, IL, surrounded by loved ones.
Jayne was born on August 3, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois. She went to Proviso East High School in Maywood where she met her best friend and the love of her life Bryant Dale. They spent 65 beautiful years of marriage together. They were the definition of soulmates. Sharing a love that could not be described with words.
Jayne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Creative, artistic, and driven best described her. She was the best “sports mom” showing up to various sporting events to cheer on her three boys throughout the years. In her free time, she enjoyed various arts, crafts, and reading for hours. Various paintings Jayne had made were hung in their home highlighting her talent. When it comes to her yarn work family and friends alike will cherish all the special handmade items that she made for years to come. Later in life when she became a grandma, she loved sharing special moments with each of her grandchildren making lifelong memories.
She is survived by her three sons, William Dale, John Dale, and Joseph Dale; daughter-in-law (Tina, Iftsef); four grandchildren Jordan Dale, Hillary Dale, Alex Dale, and Hannah Dale; sister-in-law Mary Rauen; niece Sue Sullivan-Smith (Curtis Smith); nephew Tim Sullivan; nephew Mark Rauen. Along with countless friends, colleagues, and acquaintances.
She is preceded in death by her husband (Bryant Dale) Father (John Rauen), Mother (Amanda Rauen), Brother (John Rauen), and her maternal and parental grandparents.
A private service for family will be held in her honor.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be to the National Cancer Society in Jayne Dales memory.
